Filing with Insurance

Our staff is happy to process insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients’ families, although we are considered an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans. This means that any difference between our service fees and the insurance reimbursement is the patient’s responsibility.

Patients must provide current insurance information for claim processing at the time of services. We are not accepting new Medicaid patients unless referred for lip or tongue tie release, and we only accept MCNA for existing Medicaid patients, as we do not work with DentaQuest.

Insurance & Your Appointment

All balances must be cleared before scheduling additional appointments. For treatment appointments, we file the full amount of the visit with your insurance, while requiring 40% payment at the time of service. Any remaining balances must be paid in full, and patients will be notified as soon as possible of outstanding balances. Lip and tongue tie releases are filed with dental insurance only.

Appliances and orthodontics must also be filed with dental insurance, and any outstanding balance will be texted. Bleaching fees must be paid in full at the time of service. For hospital treatments, the amount not covered by insurance must be paid in full two weeks before the surgery date.

Payment Policies & Financing

All payments are required to be processed at the time of the visit. All statements will be sent via text with a link and instructions for payment. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit/debit cards (including over-the-phone payments). Please note, we do not accept CareCredit.

Payment in full is required within 60 days, regardless of insurance status, and accounts with balances over 90 days may be sent to a collection agency. If you have any questions about our payment policies, feel free to ask—we’re here to help!
